Asphalt Paving
Repair
There
are several different options of asphalt repair for each
individual need. They include Petromat Overlay, Bonifiber
Overlay, Remove and Replace, and Overlay.

Petromat
Overlay

When pavement
is cracked over a wide area but is generally
intact, Petromat may be the best repair option.
Petromat is a nonwoven fabric that creates a
waterbarrier and strengthens the asphalt. AR-4000
hot oil is applied to the existing asphalt as a
binder and the Petromat is layed over the hot
oil. A layer of asphalt is then put down over the
Petromat. |

Bonifiber
Overlay

Bonifiber is
asphalt with a material similar to Petromat
shreded and mixed in giving the mix extra
strength. |

Remove and
Replace 
|
|
Sometimes the
damage to the pavement is so extensive that the
best option is to remove the existing asphalt and
replace it with new. |

Overlay
|
|
Asphalt
overlays repair damage to existing pavement by
applying a new layer of asphalt over the old
using SS-1 tack oil or equivilent as a binder
between. |
